Contest Sponsor. This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by SkipTheDishes Restaurant Services Inc., 410-242 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB  R3C 0T8 (referred to as “we”, “our”, “us”, “Skip”, or “SkipTheDishes” in these rules).

THE CAMPAIGN

1. By participating in the Campaign you, hereinafter also referred to as “Participant”, you declare to agree with these terms and conditions.
2. Contest Period. The Contest is open from 2nd Dec 12.01 a.m. until 13th Dec 11:59 p.m. (the “Contest Period”). Within this period there are daily promotion periods (“Daily Prize Draws”). 
3. Entries must be received by us during the Contest Period.
4. No purchase is necessary in order to enter the promotion, however internet access and access to The Inside Track (TIT), the courier blog/hub is required.
5. Participants that act in violation of these Official Rules will be excluded from participation in the Campaign.

ELIGIBILITY

1. To enter the draw, you must be a Courier in Canada. The contest is only open to Couriers who either have status as an active courier on the Skip network or who have had that status within the preceding 12 weeks (“Eligible Entrants”). Courier entrants must meet these requirements on the day before the Contest Period starts. Eligible Entrants must meet these requirements on the day before the Campaign Period starts.

ENTRY

2. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
   
   From 1st December 2024 couriers are invited via email to visit The Inside Track, the courier blog/hub, to answer a simple multi-choice question each day to participate in the relevant Daily Prize Draw.
3. To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
   • Access The Inside Track each day during the Campaign Period
   • Answer the multi-choice question presented that day to enter the Daily Prize Draw.
4. Eligible Entrants who correctly answered the questions will then be entered into the relevant Daily Prize Draw.
   
   Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person per Daily Prize Draw during the Campaign Period. No person may win more than 1 Prize.

PRIZES & WINNING

6. Winners will be celebrated and announced on the Inside Track within 40 days of the close of the Campaign Period. Each winner will win one of the following prizes, allocated at random:

7. Winner Selection: One provisional winner will be randomly selected from the pool of Eligible Entrants entered into each relevant Daily Prize Draw at 20:00 GMT on the 19th December 2024 by PromoVeritas Ltd, situated at 215 Marsh Road, Monument House, Pinner HA5 5NE, UK.
8. Provisional Daily Prize Draw winners will be notified in writing by email within 7 working days of Winner Selection and will be required to correctly answer a four part maths question, provide evidence of identity and eligibility and be required to return a signed declaration of eligibility including a liability and publicity release (a “Declaration and Release”). Each  provisional winner who successfully solves the skill-testing question, returns the signed Declaration and Release (if required by us) and has properly complied with these rules, will be declared a winner (a “Winner”). Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winners. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 30 days, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner who will be given the same 30 days to respond.
9. It is the responsibility of the Eligible Entrant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the Prize in order for their Prize to be processed. The Sponsor cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects Prize acceptance or delivery of their Prize. It is the responsibility of the winners to supply the correct personal information in writing when accepting the Prize in order to claim their Prize. The Sponsor will not be liable for the non-delivery of the Prize caused by the provision of wrong information.

PRIZE CONDITIONS

10. Prizes are not exchangeable, are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed wholly or partially for cash or any other form of compensation. The Winner must take the Prize as described in these terms and conditions, and the Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
11. The Prize can be transferred to another person with approval of the Sponsor. If for any reason, the Prize Winner cannot take any component of the Prize and does not wish to transfer the Prize, then the Prize will be forfeited. If for any reason a Prize is not available, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another Prize for it, of equal or greater value.
12. All ancillary costs or accessories not expressly provided are the responsibility of the winner.
13. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the Prize.

GENERAL

15. Important Additional Terms and Limitations of Liability. By entering the Contest, you agree to these rules, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO SECTIONS 9, 10, AND 12 OF PART I OF OUR TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH LIMIT OUR LIABILITY AND REQUIRE THAT ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN US BE RESOLVED BY WAY OF ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT BY CLASS PROCEEDINGS OR OTHER COURT PROCESS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THOSE TERMS APPLY TO THIS CONTEST. You also represent to SkipTheDishes that you meet the eligibility criteria set out in these rules. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant (including a selected entrant or a Winner) and revoke their prize for fraud, submission of offensive or illegal content or any other content referred to in Part I, paragraph 6(d)(i), clauses 1 through 10 of our Terms of Service, or for otherwise violating these rules, our Terms of Service, or any other agreement between us and that entrant. Automated entries are prohibited, and we reserve the right to void them.
16. If for any reason beyond the control of the Sponsor this Campaign is not capable of running as planned and the administration of this Campaign is affected, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to legislation.
17. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment or systems, servers or providers, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
18. The Sponsor expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as the Sponsor deems fit and the Sponsor’s decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Sponsor expressly reserves the right to change the Terms and conditions of the competition at any time.
19. The Sponsor collects a person’s information to include the person in this promotion. Use of personal information is limited to the administration of this promotion and is governed by the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.skipthedishes.com/privacy-policy
20. The Sponsor, the prize fulfilment agency and any other associated agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or loss of profit (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in the competition and/or taking the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. In accepting the Prize, the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Sponsor in its absolute discretion.
21. The Sponsor seeks to run fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Official Rules, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Sponsor reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Sponsor reserves the right at any point to:
    • Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners by requesting such information we consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.
    • Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
    • Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
    • Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
    • Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for Text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
    • Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Official Rules.
22. If any part/s of these Official Rules are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
23. If there is a discrepancy between these Official Rules and those in any promotional material, these Official Rules will prevail.
24. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, unless you access the Skip Platform in Quebec, in which case the laws of the Province of Quebec apply to the extent of such access or use of the Skip Services, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
