The World Cup is here. Plan your route.

FIFA World Cup 2026 matches are happening in Toronto and Vancouver from June through July. On match days, expect significant road closures and traffic disruptions near each stadium. Here’s what couriers on the Skip network need to know.

Vancouver

Seven match days are scheduled at BC Place, with impacts across downtown Vancouver, False Creek, and Hastings Park.

What to expect:

  • Pacific Boulevard is closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the tournament
  • On match days, additional closures will affect Expo Boulevard and streets around BC Place
  • Granville Street will be a pedestrian zone for the full tournament window
  • Pickup and loading areas may be harder to access on match days

Plan your route and give yourself extra time near restricted areas.

Additional road restrictions:

World Cup activity extends beyond match days. Expect road restrictions in and around Fan Zones throughout the tournament, from June 11 to July 19. These areas may be busier than usual.
