The Courier Portal has a new security feature to keep your personal information even safer — and all you need is your phone to authenticate your account. With two-factor authentication, you’ll have a second layer of security for your information.
Now, when logging in to the Courier Portal, you’ll receive a text message with a 6-digit code. All you have to do is enter this unique code into the Courier Portal to access your account.
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication uses two elements to verify your identity when logging into the Courier Portal.
- Something you know: your password.
- Something you have: your phone.
It’s similar to when you use an ATM or banking machine. Your PIN and card each help the machine identify who you are, and you can’t access your account without both.
Need to update your information?
As part of our transition to two-factor authentication, you’ll no longer be able to update your personal information in the Courier App. All updates must be done via the Courier Portal. For ease, we recommend that you visit the Courier Portal to ensure that your personal information, like your phone number, is up to date and accurate — while you’re there, feel free to also update your password.
Check out these recommendations for creating strong passwords and keeping your personal information safe on the Skip Network — and elsewhere on the web. If you want to learn more about two-factor authentication, check out our Help Centre.
Remember, SkipTheDishes will never ask for your username, password, or 6-digit 2FA code. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Skip, you can report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
