Skip Shop + Pay is here and all you need to do is follow the steps below to get started. You’ll find tips on how to identify Shop + Pay offers in the courier app, how to shop for grocery, pharmacy, and alcohol items, and how to pay for these orders with your Skip payment method.

Getting started

First, opt-in to Shop + Pay.
Next, you will receive an email to activate your Skip payment method to start accepting orders.

Accepting orders

When you receive a new offer, look for the Shop + Pay tag. You’ll be able to preview the list of items in the order.
Accept a Shop + Pay order to begin the delivery.

Getting to the store

To begin the delivery, tap on Navigate to business and view store details and location.
You can view any notes from the business such as parking instructions at the top of the screen.
You can get more information about the order, like what items you will be shopping for, by swiping up.
Once you’ve arrived at the store, tap I’ve arrived on your phone screen.

Shopping for items

To begin the order, tap Start shopping. As you shop, items will move to the Done tab in the app.
On the Shopping list screen, you can see all order items at a glance under the To do tab.
Click on an item to view details. On the Item details screen, you can see the item’s size, location in the store, and quantity. Examples of items you could be shopping for include over-the-counter medicines, beer, snacks, cleaning supplies, or household items.
If you found the item and the quantity requested, tap on Scan item barcode. You will be prompted to allow camera access. Once you’ve allowed access, point your phone’s camera to the barcode to scan the item.
From the Item details screen, you can add items to the Done tab by correctly scanning each item.

To adjust the quantity of an item, go to the item in the Done tab and tap Update quantity. Enter the quantity of the item requested and picked.
Scan the items on your shopping list one by one, ensuring accurate scanning by positioning the barcode in the center of your screen.
If scanning is not possible or if an item is unavailable, tap Mark item unavailable to refund the item cost to the customer. Move on to the next item by tapping Continue Shopping. You’ll be ready to check out once the To do screen is empty and the items in the Done screen are final.

Checking out

Once you’re done shopping, tap on Checkout and head to the checkout counter. The app will ask you to confirm that you are ready to check out. Tap Continue to confirm that you are ready to pay and checkout.
Once you’re at the cashier tap I’m at a cashier. You will then be able to access your phone’s wallet and use your Skip payment method.
Use your Skip payment method to purchase inexpensive shopping bags and pay for your items. All orders should be delivered in a bag.
If you’ve accidentally used your own card to pay, you can submit a reimbursement request once delivery is completed. Please confirm the payment was completed on your personal card. If your Skip payment method isn’t working while you’re in the process of checking out, tap the help icon on the top right corner to chat with support.
After you’ve paid, you should keep the receipt until the order is delivered. Always make sure the receipt is not in the customer’s bag. They will receive their copy in the Skip app.
When you’re ready to leave and deliver the order, tap on Proceed to delivery.

Delivery

Tap Deliver order and you’re ready to make your way to the customer. Once you arrive at the customer’s location, review the delivery notes for their dropoff instructions.
